Animal Collective to Release Early

Well, if I were to list the many bands I've posted about this year, one of them would definitely be Animal Collective. Why? Well, first of all, their long awaited 8th studio album Merriweather Post Pavillion (you know, the one with the weird artwork) is going to be released in January of '09. Originally expected on the 20th, AC's due to start selling a delux 2xLP 180 gram gatefold vinyl and a full album download on January 6th 2009. Plus release parties are going to be held in the major cities of North America. GvsB's hosting Dallas's, while here in New York Other Music's hosting the party at their record store.
