Going to Vermont

Christmas is over (finally), so now everyone's going to go about their merry way once again, until New Years that is. Meanwhile, I'll be traveling up to Vermont for a couple of days, so I won't be posting for a while. I made a mixtape for the roadtrip up there, and thought I'd post it here for you to listen to in the meantime. It's more mellow and less electronic than my first two mixtapes, but personally, I think it's overall better. Download the mixtape, check out the track list, you know the deal.

DP Blogcast - 12/14/08

Finally decided to start a DP podcast, or what I like to call "blogcast" that'll be available for free download every Sunday on this website. It'll wrap up the week's best remixes and beats I posted about for 30 minutes or less (depending on how much I posted, and how good it was). Well, here it is, my first DP Blogcast.

Why isn't DP on the HM?

The Hype Machine, or "Hypem", is a fantastic website that skillfully categorizes and lists all free music downloads posted on almost every music blog there is. It creates widgets, organizes posts by most popular and recent, and gives links to the downloadable track, EP, or album. 

However, I was scrolling through Hypem's list of music blogs the other day on their website, and found that not only was I not listed, but nor were my fellow bloggers Chalky and Greg, over at TLS and MDR (yeah, I know, too many acronyms). Anywho, Hypem's a brilliant way to popularize your blog, and I would deeply appreciate it if all my readers here submitted a form to Hypem, asking for Danish Poet Blog to be included on their blog list. Just enter my url (http://danishpoetblog.blogspot.com/) in the box here. If it says something like, "Danish Poet Blog has been reviewed and currently is not included in the Hype Machine." Then I would be eternally grateful if you were to send a message to Hypem requesting Danish Poet on the blog list. You can go here, and simply cut and copy what I already have written below:

Radioclit Remixes

London's Radioclit, of The Very Best, has been pretty busy lately. Architecture In Helinski released Radioclit's remix of their new single, That Beep, on AIH's website. You'll be able to buy the official single on Australian iTunes, November 22. Radioclit's also been doing work with Sweden's Teddybears, and remixed their hit track Cobrastyle, featuring Mad Cobra. The song actually uses riffs and elements of older songs you might know, including Bomdigi, by Erick Sermon. It's a great song, the original was featured on the Employee of the Month soundtrack.
