Atlas Sound is a musical solo project started by Bradford Cox, the lead singer of Deerhunter. Just in time for halloween, Atlas Sound's released a halloween themed single, Coffin Trick, and followed it up with two so-called "Halloween Dances", on their Deerhunter blog. The first one, Danse Infernale, is comfortingly reminiscent of It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, while the second, Danse Macabre, is more dance-oriented, with a constant techno beat and a light acoustic guitar. Microcastle, Deerhunter's latest album, is officially on sale in the US tomorrow. In case you can't wait (like me), you can download one of the tracks on RCRD LBL.
