Well who saw this one coming? If you've ever heard of the Vampire Weekend song Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa, you'll probably remember the lyrics "feels so unnatural, Peter Gabriel..." and then there's a guitar segment and some more conga drums. Now that Banjo Or Freakout's already covered the track, what could be more perfect the a cover of the tune done by the person it's singing about - Peter Gabriel. Peter Gabriel and Hot Chip that is. Originally recorded over the summer in Peter Gabriel's Real World studios, the Cape Cod... cover is a perfect reflection of what Hot Chip does best - give you the sense of what the song's all about, while adding some really cool beats.
