Kristofer Strom is both an artistic and musical genius. There is little known about him, other than that he is a Swedish artist who not only makes fantastic videos, but creates all the music for them himself, under the name of Ljubilden & Piloten. Of course, the above image is one of his paintings. You may be more impressed when you find out that he created that painting with Facebook Graffiti. Strom's done TV ads, some of them high budget, and some of them not so high budget, but either way, his work is brilliant. Below is a video of one of his more popular animations, which is even longer on DVD.
On his MySpace, Kristofer's music is explained as both ambient, folk, and experimental, his record label's Norsodo, and he's also got a whole slew of creative video masterpieces on his sidebar. The next vid I want to show you is something I found on his Vimeo channel, which successfully combines raster video with vector animations.
